Hunger Addon

A simple Hunger Indicator that warns you when your food or drink buff is about to run out.


It will warn you 10 mins before your food buff ends with a White Hunger icon and again at 5 mins with a Yellow Hunger icon. When your food buff ends the Red Hunger icon will pop up and play a sound to let you know it's time to head to the nearest Inn to feast.

NOTICE: Use at your own risk .

Hunger Addon install instructions
(Sorry, you won't find this Addon in Minion)

1. Save the attached "Hunger-v2_29.zip" file to your computer.
2. Unzip "Hunger-v2_29.zip" to your "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns" folder.
3. Check you now have a "Hunger" folder in your "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns" folder.
4. Run ESO and log in.
5. In ADD-ONS tick Hunger.
6. Done.

No settings or keybinds. Just enable the Hunger Addon and go. It should be compatible with your existing Addons i.e. it doesn't interfere with anything.

Please let me know if you find a food or drink that doesn't make the Hunger Indicator disappear. I'll need to add it's buff ability Id to the list.

Hunger Addon Lite
This is the original Hunger Indicator that just pops up a Red Hunger icon and plays a sound when your food buff runs out. It has less moving parts so if you're concerned about performance you can use this one instead.

Download "Hunger-v1_29.zip" and install in the same way as seen above.

I wanted a little indicator to let me know when my character was hungry instead of having to open the Character screen or have a Buff Addon that plasters the screen with numbers and status bars. I had fun bashing this Addon together and thought I'd release it here for you fine folks of Alith Legion.

edit to add: As I understand it the icon will pop up when the food/drink buff has ended - would it ever be possible to get a flavor that signals, let's say, 5 or 10 minutes before it ends? So many times I have been mid-fight to then notice the dreaded 60second countdown of my food ending

I'll look at doing a hunger warning version that will alert you when there is 10 mins and then 5 mins left of your current food buff.

I was just thinking to myself the last few days that I need something like this, and here it is! Downloaded and started using it yesterday, works like a charm.

As for the warning for 10 or 5 mins left, that would be very nifty as well. Perhaps something like the icon appearing, with yellow colour when there is 10 mins left, then changing to orange when its 5 mins left and then red when no food/drink is active? Just a thought.
