Alith Legion Header Veteran

Alith Legion Vet Training runs are a program specifically designed to help all our CP160+ members take the step up into the 12 person veteran trials. The main difference between normal and veteran trials is the requirement that we all work as a team, these raids will aim to teach players some of the useful skills and tactics that are useful in all trials.

These are teaching raids where we will use some of the easier mechanical trials (Aetherian Archives, Hel Ra Citadel, Sanctum Ophidia, Asylum Sanctorium and Sunspire) so we can focus on "veteran raiding etiquette”. All members of all experiences are welcomed to attend these raids. Our Raid Leaders will ensure that these are relaxed, casual, fun, pressure-free raids with focus on teaching members the mechanics & tactics of each of veteran trials. These raids are ideal for those who are looking to start veteran raiding or want to find ways to push their raiding to the next level.

An important note with these raids is that our main focus will be on learning, meaning we may take intentional wipes, try alternative tactics, have conversations and have slower paced raids. We will try to finish the raids where possible, but it is not our main goal.

Here are a few of the things we will be focusing on:

• Stacking, when to use soft or hard stacks.

• Roles, sub roles and backups, why it's important to learn all the mechanics

• Raid Synergies, knowing which buffs stack/don't stack and which buffs affect the whole group

• Utility Setups, ways you can help the group without hurting your role.

• Penetration, Resistances and Champion Points, What is Penetration and resistance Cap, why it's important and how CP helps.

Level requirement: Level 50 with a minimum of 160 Champion Points

Requirements:

Level requirement: Level 50 with a minimum of 160 Champion Points
To prepare yourself for this challenging content and give us the best chance of success, please equip yourself with the best gear that you have available. (As a guide, we would recommend that this would mean purple-quality set gear rated at 160 Champion Points or better.)
First Timers AND casual raiders are welcomed to join.

What to bring along:

• Magicka/Stamina/Health/Crafted potions of your preference.

• Food & Potion of your choice.

• Soul Gems.

• Repair kits.

Remember to bring PLENTY of the above. Fighting without these will not only increase your chance of dying - it'll also increase the risk of your party members dying.

Discord:

Please make sure you have Discord installed and set up prior to the run. Let the raid leader or an officer know if you still need to be approved for the Alith Legion Discord server. We require you to install it even if you don't have a microphone, just being able to hear instructions is a great help and very important. If you for some reason cannot use Discord or have difficulties with hearing instructions, let us know before the event so we can make other arrangements.
During the raid we would kindly request that we maintain Discord silence during the time the Raid Leader is explaining tactics. It's a challenging role for our raid leaders to lead, co-ordinate, and give instructions for a 12 person group, and impossible for them if everyone is talking over each other - so please show due respect and patience.

Preparation:

To better prepare you for your run, you are welcome to watch some of our raid video guides. They will help you familiarise yourself with the mechanics. We will of course also go through step by step tactics during the run too.
Trials can be a challenging experience and you should be prepared for some deaths. In case of death we would require for you to please remain patient, understanding, supportive and to not put unnecessary pressure on other group members. We raid leaders/officers will of course do the same.
We cannot guarantee that the run will be successful so, we'd ask that you come along with a relaxed, casual attitude, and appreciate the fact that some runs will be successful, and some won't. Some members will be more experienced than others, and we don't want anyone to be made to feel like they're "not good enough". The key is for us to have fun, and not take the whole thing too seriously, so no raging please. Please notice the end time to the event: If the run isn't completed by that time, the run could be terminated. Please, do not be disheartened. Of course, you are more than welcome to sign up for the next available run!

How to sign up:

• All members who wish to join, should sign up and remember to state your role, level and champion point rank.
• If the event has reached maximum capacity - you can still sign up as a reserve and may be invited to join if spaces become available. If there are enough reserves for an additional raid then a second group will be set up.
Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time since that designates the time we start the dungeon run. Invites for the group go out 15 minutes before the start and if you are not there by that time, you may risk being replaced. If you are not there by that time, you may risk being replaced. We can't hold up 11 other members as a result of 1 member running late.
Note that all calendar times are in CET (Central European Time).
We're looking forward to seeing you all at the run!
